Adjustable velcro wrist closures
Metal snap pocket closures
Heavy Zipper w/ snap fly front closure
Attatched hood hidden behind zipper in collar

Originally the M-65 Jacket was produced in OG-107 - a shade of green developed for Vietnam - but as it was adopted for later use it was made in other colors like Woodland Camo and 3 Color Desert.
In 2009, the M-65 Field Jacket was finally retired with the Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) taking its place.
